Born in St Andrew, Jamaica, Margot Jobson migrated with her family to America in 1977. She received her early education in Orlando, Florida and was active in a number of extracurricular activities in her community. During her high school career she received a track and field scholarship to a college in Missouri.
Upon completion of a degree in Biology, Margot was accepted into Meharry Medical College, School of Dentistry. Her free time in Nashville was spent assisting a local pediatric dentist who had a great influence in her decision to continue her education and in 1996 she began her post graduate training in Pediatric Dentistry at Howard University in Washington DC.
Dr. Jobson practiced briefly in Maryland but decided to return to Florida and has been practicing at Sabal Palm Dental since 1999. She is a member of the National Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentists and the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentists. Margot married Emmanuel Poux in 2003 and are the parents of 3 beautiful children.
